Lacoste was founded by legendary tennis player René Lacoste. Even the crocodile logo associated with the brand came from René Lacoste’s tennis background, as he was nicknamed ‘The Crocodile’. Although, Lacoste was designed originally for tennis enthusiasts, it was not long before the trends followed through to the general public.
