My favourite footwear used to be the ballerina until I discovered the brogue. I then fell in love with the trainer as it became a fashion statement all on it’s own. But of course as we head towards cooler days, it’s the boot that I love to pull on, the perfect addition to any dress or skinny jean outfit. Reading that over, clearly you should have at least one of every shoe type in your wardrobe!  Did I mention the heel, specially reserved for a night out for this lazy girl's feet?!

So when asked by DV8 to check out their new collections, I easily picked my favourites!  From Converse to New Balance, No Doubt to Dr Martens, DV8 have a range of options to suit all needs, tastes and prices.

First up of course, I have to show you my favourite flats.  Brogues go with everything, literally everything!  I wear mine with a dress, trousers, a skirt.  As part of my work wardrobe or for casual wear.  But of course, I recommend the silver brogue ;)

And for your Christmas night out - a simple dress or skirt and top combo.  I think the shoes say it all on this occasion!
