LOCKDOWN RETURNS POLICY


UPDATED IN-STORE RETURNS POLICY (DURING LOCKDOWN);

Government Restrictions have resulted in the temporary closure of our retail stores. We recognise that this could lead to confusion around the timescales for your return. At DV8 we have tried to make it as simple as possible for you. We have simply stopped the clock when stores closed and will restart it when stores reopen. To reflect this we have amended our Returns Policy below (amendments highlighted in yellow):

 

For items purchased through our retail stores we are happy to offer a refund for any merchandise returned within 14 Trading days of purchase, providing goods are in their original condition, unworn, with all labels & packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Exchanges can be made, or Credit Notes issued for items returned within 14 Trading Days of the original purchase under the above conditions. Occasionally we will extend the exchange period, for example at Christmas time and this will be stated at the bottom of the receipt if applicable to your purchase.

We regret that for hygiene reasons swimwear, underwear and earrings are non-returnable.

Proof of purchase is required with every refund or exchange, including Credit Card receipt where you have paid by this method.

To prevent Credit card fraud and general refund fraud you will be required to provide your name, address and telephone number as part of the refund transaction. In accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR, your information will not be used for marketing purposes or given to any organisation outside DV8 Fashion, other than statutory government bodies where we are required by law to provide it.

A Gift Receipt entitles the bearer to an exchange to the same value of the goods returned. Returns with Gift Receipts are subject to the same Terms and Conditions stated above (14 Trading days for an exchange, unless otherwise stated on the receipt). We do not offer a refund on items returned with a Gift Receipt.

 

*Definition of Trading Days: Trading Days are the days that our stores are open and trading. If the store is closed due to a local Lockdown this does not constitute a Trading Day.

An example of how this is applied: If you purchased your goods on December 21st you will have had three Trading Days to return your goods to the point that stores closed due to the restrictions (December 24th), meaning that you have eleven Trading Days remaining on your return. You will therefore have eleven Trading Days from that point that stores re-open following lifting of restrictions to make your return.

 

UPDATED ONLINE RETURNS POLICY (DURING LOCKDOWN);

Government Restrictions have resulted in the temporary closure of our retail stores, however our online store is uneffected.

We are happy to offer a refund on any items that are returned to us within 14 days of purchase, providing goods are in their original condition, unworn, with all labels & packaging and accompanied by your Returns Paperwork. You can fInd our Returns Proceedures here.

As our stores are temporarily closed we are unable to offer a refund via the Free Returns to Store option. We will offer an exchange only on any goods purchased online when they are returned to our stores within 14 Days of reopening.

 

POLICY ON GIFT VOUCHERS & CREDIT NOTES;

Government Restrictions have resulted in the temporary closure of our retail stores. We recognise that this could lead to confusion around the expiry date for your In-store Credit Notes and/or In-Store Gift Vouchers. At DV8 we have tried to make it as simple as possible for you. We have simply stopped the clock when stores closed and will restart it when stores reopen.

So if for example our stores are closed for 12 Weeks, your Gift Voucher / Credit Note will be extended for the same period of 12 Weeks.

Please note that as per Section 6 of our Terms & Conditions, In-Store Gift Vouchers & In-Store Credit Notes can only be redeemed in-store, not online.

 

This is in addition to your statutory rights.

All returns & exchanges must be made in the same country in which the purchase was made.
